Police Chief Peter Demnitz
Located at 200 South Street, the Morristown Police Department has an authorized strength of 60 sworn Police Officers, 4 civilian Communications Officers and 5 civilian employees. From these numbers, the department maintains an active uniformed patrol, investigative services and dispatching facilities for all police, fire and emergency calls.
Lead by Chief Peter Demnitz, the Police Department is divided into the Patrol Divison, commanded by Captain Michael Ubertaccio and the Services Division, headed by Captain John Kruse.
